IT Security Analyst
Salary commensurate w/ training and experience
Exempt, non-civil service, full-time, temporary appointment. This position is responsible for electronic data systems analysis, systems design, systems development, systems implementation, and systems maintenance and remediation for all platforms with a focus on security and privacy of systems within the Department of Health.
Minimum Qualification(s)
EDUCATION: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Excess Information Technology Experience as described below or any other responsible administrative, professional or analytical work experience which provided knowledge, skills and abilities comparable to those acquired in four years of successful study while completing a college or university curriculum leading to a baccalaureate degree may be substituted on a year-for-year basis. To be acceptable, the experience must have been such scope, level and quality as to assure the possession of comparable knowledge, skills and abilities.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Two (2) to Four (4) years of professional Information Technology (IT) experience in the Programming specialty area or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
LICENSE: Valid license to drive in the State of Hawaii is preferred.
