SNDH EFDH PROJECT ASSOCIATE – ID# 18309

 

School of Nursing & Dental Hygiene.  Regular, Part-Time (50% FTE), RCUH Non-Civil Service position with the School of Nursing & Dental Hygiene, Pre-doctoral Training in General, Pediatric, and Public Health Dentistry and Dental Hygiene, Utilization of the Post-BS 0-5 Years Pediatric Expanded Function Dental Hygiene (EFDH) Certificate Program to Improve Oral Health Outcomes for Infants and Young Children in Hawai'i project, located in Oahu, Hawai‘i.  Continuation of employment is dependent upon program/operational needs, satisfactory work performance, availability of funds, and compliance with applicable Federal/State laws. 


MINIMUM MONTHLY SALARY:  $1,142.50/Mon. (@50% FTE)


DUTIES:  Oversees the operations and maintenance of the Typhon software system for the.  Works closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) in preparing and submitting project reports to the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), handling student scholarships and stipends, event planning and project-related activities. 


PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/TRAINING: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.  EXPERIENCE:  One to three (1-3) years of progressively responsible experience in office/business administration or customer service-related work. Experience dealing with multiple tasks and frequent deadlines.  ABIL/KNOW/SKILLS:  Knowledge of office administration, basic accounting, event planning/organizing, and general business/office practices.  Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).  Effective written and verbal communication skills.  Ability to convey necessary information accurately, concisely, listen effectively, and ask pertinent questions.  Ability to do work with speed and accuracy.  Ability to do work with speed and accuracy.  PHYSICAL/MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Ability to lift and carry up to twenty (20) pounds unassisted. SECONDARY QUALIFICATIONS:  Strong office technology skills.  Familiarity with UH and RCUH policies and procedures.
