Join Oahu's only whole-animal butcher shop and help bring local ranchers, farmers, and community to the table — one handcrafted sandwich at a time.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Starting pay: $19/hr

THE ROLE
You’ll work side-by-side with our butchers transforming  cuts into our beloved daily sandwiches. Every loaf of bread, house pickle, and cured deli meat is made completely from scratch. You’ll get to know the farmers growing your ingredients and help shape what “local food” looks and tastes like in Hawaiʻi.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Build and assemble our daily sandwiches
• Make house pickles and charcuterie inclusions for sandwiches and retail sale
• Cure and smoke bacon, ham, and other deli meats
• Work safely with knives, meat grinder, and meat slicer
• Collaborate with butchers on whole-animal cuts
• Source seasonal produce alongside local farmers
• Receive and organize inventory
• Maintain a clean, organized work station

WHO YOU ARE
• Passionate about food and Hawaiiʻs local food system
• Excited to work with local farmers and in-season produce
• A team player who takes pride in their craft
• Comfortable working weekends

QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be 18 or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of restaurant or kitchen experience (preferred)
• Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 lbs
• TB Clearance required
• Food Handler’s Certification required (can be obtained after hiring)
