At Hawaii Foodservice Alliance (HFA), keeping our facilities clean is about much more than appearance. It plays an important role in food safety, warehouse operations, product protection, and the safety of our team members.

As a Sanitation Worker, you’ll help maintain the standards that allow our warehouse and distribution operations to run safely and efficiently every day. From detailed sanitation work and facility inspections to identifying potential issues before they become bigger problems, your work directly supports the products and people moving through our facilities.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in doing things the right way, notices the details, and understands that a clean and well-maintained facility is an important part of a strong operation.

What You’ll Do

• Perform routine and detailed sanitation throughout warehouse, shipping, receiving, and facility areas.
• Clean and sanitize floors, walls, racks, ceilings, guardrails, fixtures, and other operational areas.
• Use and properly maintain sanitation equipment including floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums, mops, squeegees, and other tools.
• Complete deeper cleaning projects to support warehouse and facility standards.
• Inspect designated rodent and pest-control monitoring areas and report concerns.
• Identify and communicate facility, sanitation, or safety issues that may need additional attention.
• Support a clean and organized work environment that helps protect food products, equipment, and team members.
• Follow established sanitation procedures, food safety requirements, and workplace safety practices.
• Work with warehouse and facility leadership to help keep operational areas ready for daily business needs, inspections, and audits.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Dependable and comfortable working independently.
• Detail-oriented and able to recognize when something needs attention.
• Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment.
• Able to follow sanitation, food safety, and workplace safety procedures.
• Comfortable using power cleaning equipment and hand tools.
• Able to communicate concerns clearly to supervisors and other team members.
• Willing to learn and take ownership of maintaining high facility standards.

Previous sanitation, warehouse, facilities, food production, or similar experience is helpful, but we’re willing to train someone with the right attitude and work ethic.
