Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent client service and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.
- Perform monthly closings and produce timely financial statements and reconciliations.
- Monitor client expenses, comparing to budgets and prior periods.
- Prepare and file client Hawaii general excise tax returns.
- Provide information to client’s external tax accountants and auditors, as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect the organization’s values.
- Contribute to a positive company culture.
- Create and update management reports.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Abilities:Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Associate’s degree with equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
Experience & Knowledge:
- 3–4 years accounting experience, ideally with multi-client exposure.
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Prior experience with nonprofits is a plus.
- Client-facing experience is preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software preferred.

- Ability to work additional hours or weekends as needed.
- Strong adaptability, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Salary: Starting at $65,000, depending on experience
