Job Description

Hawaii Foodservice Alliance, LLC is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. This is an exciting full-time career opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger and preparing and analyzing reports for C-level executives.


A thorough knowledge of general accounting principles, internal controls, inventory management, reporting, forecasting, expense analysis, and journal posting is required. Successful candidate must have the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.

  • Compile and analyze financials report and find discrepancies that require senior management’s attention
  • Provide financial reports with reliable conclusions that management can use to implement more effective operational strategies
  • Manage the general ledger and devote time to internal controls, inventory management and risk management
  • Prepare profit and loss models, balance sheets and other management reports for C-level executives
  • Perform budgeting variance and forecasting analyses for various levels of management
  • Evaluate and analyze capital expenditures, depreciation, proposals, investment opportunities, rate of return, pro forma analyses and forecast financial outcomes
  • Perform financial functions such as assessing, auditing, planning, taxes, consolidation, cost control and project control
  • Maintaining confidential financial information
  • Exercise excellent judgment


  • 10+ years of experience working in finance and/or accounting
  • Proven track record of working with groups or teams to implement changes resulting from financial analysis
  • Experience with at least one company that has revenue in excess of $100 million
  • Thorough understanding of GAAP
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Comprehensive understanding of MS Excel and MS Word, Tableau, and other financial software expertise
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent time management and organizational ability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Public accounting audit experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Certified Public Accountant license (CPA) preferred
