Assistant Service Manager

Position Overview: 

Cutter Chevrolet is looking for a Assistant Service Manager to join our sales team.  

Job Responsibilities: 

-  Oversee the daily operations of the service department -  Manage a team of technicians and mechanics -  Schedule and assign work orders to ensure timely completion -  Provide guidance and support to technicians on complex repairs and diagnostics -  Monitor and maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies -  Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies -  Develop and implement training programs for technicians to enhance their skills -  Maintain accurate records of service activities and customer interactions

- Attending to service calls (i.e., scheduling, status, etc.)

- Providing customer support in escalated situations

-  Provide direction to staff.

-  Fill in for Service manager in times of absence.

-  Support ongoing learning and development of team members.

-  Help create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environment.

Job Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Ability to operate an automobile 
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission (preferred) 
• Valid state driver's license
