Service Technician

Pacific Ice Services Inc is a locally owned company specializing in sales, services, and repair of all commercial foodservice refrigeration systems. We are seeking technicians to join our team! We are currently looking for Field Service Technicians who can work on commercial and or commercial refrigeration systems, such as commercial ice machines (preferred), but not limited to food and beverage equipment and other commercial refrigerated storage units.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventative maintenance
Assist in installation of commercial refrigeration services
Troubleshoot and do minor repair defective equipment
Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent and Driver’s License (Required)

Refrigeration Trade School or Association (Preferred)

Previous experience in commercial refrigeration specifically ice machine is a plus

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Familiarity with refrigeration tools and equipment

Ability to handle physical workload

Schedule:

•          8-hour shift/ 40 hours workweek

•          On call

•          Overtime available

COVID-19 considerations:

All employees are always advised to social distance. Wearing a mask is encouraged but not required. Health screening is done daily for all employees. We are constantly sanitizing and cleaning the office and public areas. The technician is advised to sanitize constantly and clean equipment and tools before and after use.

Work Location: On the road, a company vehicle is provided.
