Social Media Coordinator - Part-time

We are seeking a Social Media Coordinator for our oculofacial surgery practice (Oculofacial Plastic Surgery of Hawaii). We treat patients with cosmetic and functional concerns of the eyelids, face, tear ducts, and orbit.  We perform a broad range of facial surgeries and non-surgical procedures (i.e. botulinum toxin injections, fillers, chemical peels, PRP, microneedling, and laser skin rejuvenation).

The ideal candidate must be professional, self-motivated, a quick learner, good at multi-tasking, a good problem solver, and interested in aesthetics and skin care. You will play an important role in creating content for the office and provide the highest level of customer service with a team that is hard-working, fun, and passionate about their work. 

Dr. Bradford Lee is one of Hawaii's top eyelid and facial plastic surgeons and was formerly a professor at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute / University of Miami School of Medicine (rated the #1 eye hospital in the USA).  He is currently an Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. You will be responsible for helping the public, patients, and our social media followers learn about oculofacial surgery and all the cool stuff we do in our practice!

Hours: Part-Time ~10 hours (Flexible Hybrid Schedule)

Responsibilities

• Monitor social media platforms by scheduling and posting content across all social media channels to increase engagement, viewership, and followers.
• Creating, editing, and posting compelling content across social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Identify trending topics as they arise and react accordingly.
• Plan, promote, and create marketing campaigns to promote services and products.
• Create photography and videography in and out of the office.
• Coordinate content creation with staff.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to conduct web research to gather information for content creation.
• Proficiency in photography and video editing software (Adobe, Photoshop, Capcut, etc.).
• A strong interest in cosmetic procedures, skincare, and aesthetics.
• This position requires a creative individual who is passionate about social media, digital marketing, and staying up to date with the latest trends.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree (Not required, college students welcome).
• Marketing (Preferred but not required).
• Social media user (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook).
