Job Description

The Sr. Marketing Manager - Car Sharing will play a critical role in the launch of the Hui Car Sharing division.  Will utilize strong background in digital and paid media and marketing analytics to manage advertising campaigns that drive revenue and deliver value.  Provides marketing solutions to acquire, activate and retain Hui subscribers through direct to consumer and collaborative campaigns. 

Duties include design and facilitation of marketing plans, budgets, targets, and campaigns – online, off-line, emails, A/B testing, PR, events, etc. – to increase subscription-based customers.  Lead lifecycle marketing efforts by developing testing plans, evaluating results, and continuously iterating to increase trial-to-pay conversion rate.  Work with Product Managers to create a cohesive onboarding experience (from sign up to becoming a paying customer).  Partner with Data/Analytics team members to identify high-value behaviors and to understand drivers of conversion from free trial to paying customer. Develop Mid-Lifecycle Marketing strategy to establish and sustain engagement patterns that extend the customer’s lifetime.  Collaborate with Product and Data teams on product features, data/technical  requirements, and personalization. Develop thoughtful and effective customer education initiatives.  Continuously pursue improvements to onboarding and lifecycle efforts in order to help new Hui users get maximum value out of their subscription.


• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred
• 3+ years working in or directly managing retention and subscription of mobile apps, eCommerce, online services, or dating sites
• 3+ years of marketing experience in a mix of strategy and execution across multiple channels (e.g. display, email, social, etc.)
• Advanced experience in complex database marketing, technical requirements gathering, and driving integration with CRM technologies.
• Strong background in A/B testing to optimize and increase the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
• Prior experience analyzing and using BI methods for marketing campaigns
• Must have a strong knowledge base of new technology and wireless products
• Experience in user-centric product development and design
• Experience directly managing and leading cross-functional teams
• Strong track record of setting and achieving goals
• Must be self-motivated, energetic, goal oriented
• Strategic and creative thinker who can balance short term operating needs with longer term strategic initiatives
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Impressive attention to detail and proven ability to follow-through on deadlines
• Positive attitude and ability to operate in a fast paced environment with ambiguity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex data, influence others, and build relationships.


Preferred Qualifications include experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and experience in the entertainment or subscription business space from companies like Hulu, Pandora, Amazon, Spotify, Netflix, etc.
