Summer Teacher Aide, St Joseph Early Learning Center, Makawao

The Summer Teacher Aide works with the Teacher to provide assistance in the implementation of curriculum during the summer program.

Essential Functions:

• Assist with lesson activities 
• Supervision of students in the classroom and during playground time
• Prepare classroom materials
• Help maintain a safe learning environment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Understanding and acceptance of Catholic school philosophy, goals, and objectives
• Understanding of child development and the ability to relate well with students
• High school diploma
• At least one year of experience working with children
• Background check and health clearance
