Job Description
As our System Administrator, you are the primary architect of our local technology infrastructure. You will ensure our team stays connected, secure, and efficient by maintaining high-performance networks and providing proactive hardware and software solutions. This role is vital for optimizing our IT systems and driving the implementation of next-generation hardware and software requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Network Excellence
- Systems Administration: Maintain and administer full-stack computing environments, including hardware, software applications, and critical configurations.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor network health to proactively identify and implement adjustments for future scalability.
- Technical Design: Design, configure, and test innovative computer hardware and networking software to keep our operations at the cutting edge.
- Hardware Lifecycle: Analyze equipment performance to manage the repair, replacement, and inventory of vital hardware components.
Security & Business Continuity
- Cybersecurity Leadership: Plan and coordinate advanced network security measures to protect our data and digital assets.
- Disaster Recovery: Lead data backup operations and disaster recovery protocols to ensure business resilience.
- System Integrity: Diagnose complex hardware/software issues and manage routine startup/shutdown procedures to maintain optimal control.
Collaboration & User Empowerment
- Strategic Support: Partner with network users to solve existing system challenges and improve the overall user experience.
- Technical Training: Act as a subject matter expert by training team members on computer system use and best practices.
- Vendor Relations: Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to facilitate strategic technology purchases.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of professional experience in LAN/WAN management, systems configuration, and user support.
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience installing and supporting Microsoft server technologies and standard operating systems.
- Hardware Mastery: Deep knowledge of repairing and assembling various brands and types of computers, laptops, and printers.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work independently or as a collaborative team member.
- Requirement: Valid license to drive.
