MONTHLY SALARY: Salary commensurate with qualifications.
DUTIES: Under direction and oversight from the TASI/IT Systems Analyst, duties and responsibilities of the System Operators will be to: (1) Conducts the day-to-day systems and operational management of network monitoring application, TASI Web servers and applications, document management, and other TASI systems and networks; (2) Receives, examines, resolves, or routes trouble calls and tickets or problems to appropriate TASI Information and Communication Technology (ICT) analysts and programmers according to TASI escalation procedures; (3) Assists with project deliverables and project operations; and (4) Sets-up, establishes, and monitors meetings, and prepares documentation for health information technology projects, weather service and technical assistance projects. Assists with research and providing recommendations on user support needs. This is a progression job beginning with an entry level (Level I). It will assume the employee to start at Level I (unless justified and qualified to start at a higher level). Through experience, demonstrated competence, and operational needs, may be promoted to a higher level. Availability and ability to perform duties independently is expected to increase with each level of progression.
PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.At least twenty-four(24)creditstowardsadegreeinInformationTechnology,ManagementInformationSystem,ComputerScience, Public Health, Social Science, orother relatedfield.Vocational or professional certifications may be used to substitutecollegecredits.
EXPERIENCE
Progression job with minimum experience requirements for Level I, and combination of experience and demonstrated competence and abilities for Level II. It will assume the employee to start at Level I (unless justified and qualified to start at a higher level). Experience with using computer systems,videoteleconferencing, and familiaritywithtelecommunicationterminology and concepts (including Asynchronous Transfer Mode, ATM,basicroutingandcomputing). Up to one (0-1) year of experience.
KNOWLEDGE
Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel, email, and webaccess.
ABILITIES & SKILLS
Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing. Ability to use web reporting and computer software, such as Microsoft Office suite. Ability to effectively conduct work remotely (e.g., telework) as applicable. Post Offer/Employment Condition: Must be able to pass a post offer criminal background check.
PHYSICAL/MEDICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift and carry at least twenty (20) pounds.

Must maintain a current status on the University’s and/or the business entity's training requirements.
SECONDARY QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to operate and provide basic supportof end-user equipment and troubleshooting (e.g., set up video teleconferencecodes, camera, Telephone Bridge, etc.).Ability to manage program scheduling requests. Experience in working within a government or educational institution. Understanding of the Pacific region healthcare stakeholders. Understanding of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (CNMI) Medicaid program and requirements. Experience in healthcare or Health Information Technology (HIT). Knowledge of Medicaid eligibility and enrollment or claims data and systems.
