Job Description

Local non-profit is in need of a temporary Payroll Specialist for a 2-3 month assignment. As the Payroll Specialist, you will assist with:


  • Processing and auditing payroll
  • Investigating and correcting payroll discrepancies
  • Generating reports on salary, deductions, union dues, and other expenses
  • Processing purchase orders and invoices
  • Attending to other financial operations duties as needed


Required Education and Qualifications:


  • Previous payroll and/or accounting experience
  • Solid understanding of payroll functions and procedures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good attention to detail and strong analytical thinking skills
