Toddler Assistant Teacher for Mary, Star of the Sea Early Learning Center

Goal: The Assistant Teacher works with the classroom teacher to provide assistance in the implementation of the curriculum

Responsibilities:

• Helps the teacher with curriculum implantation
• Classroom preparation
• Assists in the supervision of students and maintain an environment of safety and security
• Serves food and cleans up after service is completed

Qualifications:

• Must have a basic understanding and acceptance of Catholic School philosophy, goals and objectives
• Must have a basic understanding of child development and skills necessary to relate to the students
• Must be able to use and understand appropriate child discipline techniques
• Team Player
• High school Diploma
• One year experience working with children
• Able to physically work with 2 year old children
• Positive references and recommendations
• Background check and health clearance

Hours: 7am – 2:45pm (full time)
