Job Summary:

Looking for an induvidual who will be responsible for the delivery, setup, and maintenance of medical equipment for our homecare patients. This essential role ensures patients and caregivers understand how to safely and properly use their equipment, while ensuring compliance with all company policies and safety standards. You will be the face of STAT Medical, providing high-quality service, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting patients with their medical equipment needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver and pick up medical equipment from patients’ homes or healthcare facilities.
• Set up medical equipment and provide thorough, clear instructions to patients and caregivers on its proper use and maintenance.
• Respond promptly to patient inquiries and resolve equipment-related issues, providing exceptional customer service.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal functionality and patient safety.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of all deliveries, pickups, and service activities.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and maintain meticulous vehicle maintenance logs.
• Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory requirements, including hazardous materials handling and safety inspections.
• Safely load, unload, and secure equipment, handling all items with care.
• Adhere to all company protocols for driver safety and delivery efficiency.
• Assume mandatory overtime and on-call responsibilities during non-business hours on a rotating schedule.
• Manage Company Fleet Responsibilities, including ensuring assigned vehicles are clean, stocked, supplied, fueled, in working order, and in compliance with all laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one (1) year of experience in a related field (e.g., delivery, logistics, or healthcare support).
• Minimum of one (1) year of driving history; must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of DOT, FDA, and Joint Commission regulations is preferred, but not required.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• Strong problem-solving and excellent customer service skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks under various field conditions.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to frequently sit, stand, walk, and bend.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and assist with moving heavy equipment safely.
• Requires close and distant vision with the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

• Work involves operating in both indoor climate-controlled environments and outdoor settings (e.g., patient homes).
• Exposure to varying weather, noise levels, and traffic conditions.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required as necessary.

Travel:

• Daily local travel is required. Occasional overnight travel may be necessary.
