Job Summary:

The Youth Partner Supervisor oversees and directs the work of the Youth Partners with their day-to-day tasks. Supervision shall include, but is not limited to, individual staff, volunteer, and contract personnel supervision, and case reviews. The Youth Partner Supervisor coordinates day-to-day Youth Partner activities by ensuring proper coverage, scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of the Youth Partner. The primary responsibility of the Youth Partner Supervisor is to ensure that Youth Partners have the necessary support, tools and information to perform their peer roles effectively. The ideal candidate is someone who advocates for and empowers Youth Partners, encouraging them to bring their authentic selves to their work while prioritizing self-care. The Youth Partner Supervisor monitors and supports Youth Partner progress toward individual and program goals. This includes promoting self-care practices. The Youth Partner Supervisor also assists the Youth Partner Program Manager with ongoing observation of service delivery, evaluation of program effectiveness and outcome measures. Responsible for staying current on all new protocols and updates with program and/or contract requirements. Supports the Youth Partner Program Manager with developing and facilitating team meetings and trainings for the Youth Partner staff. Completes documentation accurately and efficiently, and in compliance with program and/or contract requirements and deadlines. Completes all required reports and other paperwork as directed. Ensures that Youth Partner staff maintains up to date records and in compliance with record keeping procedures. Assists in implementing and monitoring staff’s development plans. Participates in outreach, event planning and other trainings or meetings in accordance with program and/or contract requirements. Maintains a cooperative and effective working relationship with other providers and community partners.
