Job Description

Our client is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team and help with the day-to-day duties in the accounting department. In this role, you will process payments, prepare statements, and complete bank runs.

Qualified candidates will have previous accounting experience.

This is a part-time position, but the client is open to full-time availability as well.


Part-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-2:00pm


Kalihi, Honolulu, Oahu


$20 to $25 an hour


  • Update and maintain vendor, customer, and job database.
  • Prepare bank statements and complete bank runs.
  • Prepare and process checks for multiple companies.
  • Prepare union dues.
  • Post cash receipts.
  • Process credit card payments.
  • Handle mail distribution.
  • Handle data entry for AP invoices.
  • Reconcile vendor statements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Previous accounting experience required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
  • Analytical, detail oriented, and organized.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
