Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support day-to-day financial and administrative operations. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys managing accounting processes, staying organized, and contributing to a team-focused office environment. The ideal candidate will have experience handling accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, and supporting general office operations. This role works closely with leadership and plays an important part in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of company operations.

Hours

Part-time, Monday-Friday, 25-30 hours/week

Pay

$25 to $30 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Handle all vendor payments and customer invoicing.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and enter daily accounting transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and accounts, with proper documentation.
  • Assist with month-end accounting duties.
  • Support leadership with financial reporting and operational tracking.
  • Assist with audits and other accounting-related projects.
  • Coordinate administrative support duties including answering phones and filing documents.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting support required.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
