Job Description

Our client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join their busy accounting department. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will prepare and maintain documents, reconcile accounts, prepare reports, and identify problems and solutions.

The ideal candidate will have previous accounting experience and familiarity with basic accounting procedures.

After training, there is opportunity for split remote/office days.

Hours

Full-time, Flexible hours between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$19 to $22 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Scan, organize, and maintain financial documents to ensure accurate and complete digital records.
  • Manage electronic and physical filing systems in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Enter and process invoices with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support accounts payable operations by following standard workflows and internal controls.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive financial information.
  • Communicate as needed with internal teams to resolve routine invoice or documentation questions.
  • Perform additional administrative or accounting-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in accounts payable, accounting support, or administrative roles preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document management.
  • Basic understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting principles.
  • Proficiency with standard office software and data entry systems.
  • Experience with Great Plains accounting software is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage repetitive tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment.
