Seeking an Admin and Events Coordinator for a downtown office with parking included! In this role, you will oversee the center and help to execute programs and events for membership. This includes greeting visitors, handling all inquiries, and assisting with organizing correspondence and inquiries. In addition, you will be tasked with assisting with social media and entry-level graphic design duties.
The ideal candidate will be able to wear many hats and feel comfortable working in smaller office settings.
Hours
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (occasional evening/weekend hours for events)
Location
Downtown, Honolulu, Oahu
Pay
$22 to $25 an hour
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and executing events and supporting membership engagement and retention efforts.
- Promote events through newsletters, social media, and website updates.
- Screen, answer, and distribute all general voicemail, email, and postal mail.
- Provide general information about membership, sponsorship and programs, and refer specific requests to appropriate staff.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of communal spaces, including the conference rooms, storage areas, and kitchen.
- Manage relationships with vendors, maintenance, and cleaning team where necessary.
- Provide technical and scheduling support for virtual events.
- Manage event space rentals.
- Support in-office, out of office, and after-hours events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Proficiency in social media and entry level graphic design (Canva).
- Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to operate standard audio-visual equipment.
