Job Description

A local foodservice distributor is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team. In this role you will maintain files, handle travel arrangements for leadership, process expense reports, and perform other duties as assigned.

Ideal candidates will have their Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field and/or 1-2 years of office administration experience, and want to assist leadership in a support role.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm


Sand Island, Honolulu, Oahu


$19 an hour, DOE


  • Administrator for printers, copiers, scanners, and postage machines (state-wide), and the corporate card program.
  • Handle filing of Federal and State tradenames and trademarks.
  • Maintain and organize files, contracts, contacts, and correspondence.
  • Maintain petty cash and process monthly expense reports.
  • Maintain and prepare conference rooms for internal and external meetings.
  • Perform research and analysis utilizing various internal and external sources to compile information as necessary.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping, order office supplies for branch location.
  • Handle travel arrangements (i.e., flight, hotel, and rental vehicle) for leadership, and serve as backup to travel coordinator.
  • Prepare presentations and reports as requested.
  • Perform clerical and other duties as assigned by supervisor.


  • Associate?s degree in Business Administration or related field and/or 1-2 years of office administration experience.
  • Previous food service industry experience a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Possess excellent communication, customer service, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must be detail oriented, reliable, and dependable.
