Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced administrative professional to join their team as an Administrative Assistant. In this role, the Administrative Assistant will help support the office by handling general clerical duties such as answering phones, filing paperwork, and scheduling travel arrangements.

Qualified candidates will have 5 to 7 years of general office experience with at least 3 years of executive secretarial experience.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm


Honolulu, Oahu


$25 to $35 an hour


  • Answer incoming phone calls, field questions, transfer calls, and take accurate messages.
  • File paperwork.
  • Set up Zoom meetings for managers.
  • Assist with scheduling appointment and meeting.
  • Maintain budget, cost, forecast and/or similar records.
  • Schedule travel arrangements.
  • Assemble/compile data from signatories and external sources for correspondence, reports, presentations, meetings, etc.
  • Provide support to staff and members.
  • Assist with document preparation for regulatory, legislative, and other matters.
  • Act as liaison between staff and members by providing support and guidance.


  • Possess 5-7 years of general office experience, 3-5 years of executive secretarial experience.
  • Posses experience with accounting and budgeting highly desirable.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access).
  • Knowledgeable of legislative, operational, and regulatory processes helpful.
  • Ability to remain professional when interacting with senior and executive level personnel.
  • Ability to perform general office duties, procedures, and methods.
  • Ability to maintain highest levels of confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Possess strong computer skills.
  • Ability to pass state/federal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
