Job Description

Work with one of Hawaii's largest companies! A reputable utility company is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join their team in the Ward area and assist with scheduling meetings, taking meeting minutes, and preparing presentations. The duration of the assignment will be for approximately 6-12 months, with the possibility of extension.

Qualified candidates will have previous administrative/office experience, preferably with upper management.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm, overtime as needed

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$20 to $22 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings.
  • Take meeting minutes.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations.
  • Draft letters, internal memos, agendas, forms and generate reports.
  • File, print, scan and store documents.
  • Develop and implement guidelines to ensure proper workflow process.
  • Develop procedures and training guides to improve work efficiency.
  • Work closely with leaders to develop, document, monitor and track goals, initiatives and action plans.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must have previous administrative/office experience, preferably in support of upper management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Possess analytical, organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as needed, but also work collaboratively as a team.
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Ability to take initiative, multi-task and be adaptable to changes.
