Job Description

Our client is seeking a precise and proactive administrative assistant for their busy insurance practice. This role will provide administrative support for a small office of under 5 employees, and will be responsible for the smooth operation of the office. The Administrative Assistant will support employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. This is a temporary position with the possibility of extension.

Hours

Full-time, Monday 9:00AM-5:00PM, Tuesday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM

Location

Kahala, Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$40,000 to $50,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls.
  • Organize and schedule appointments.
  • Maintain contact lists.
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
  • Develop and maintain a filing system.
  • Order office supplies.
  • Provide general support to visitors.
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.

Qualifications

  • Easygoing personality with proven ability to stay on top of work.
  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
