Job Description

A local company is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Administrative Assistant to join their team in a temporary position through the end of the year, with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will provide crucial administrative support to the Manager and staff, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance.

Hours

Full-time, Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$20 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Manager and staff.
  • Process documents: date/time stamping, printing, copying, scanning, and filing.
  • Perform data entry in claims system.
  • Prepare documents, training materials, and resources using Microsoft Office.
  • Create flow charts in Visio for manager's review.
  • Execute project-related tasks and record status and results in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with internal team and external customers via email and phone.
  • Coordinate schedules and logistics for meetings and training sessions.
  • Maintain medical privacy, compliance, and confidentiality standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of office experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience creating flow charts in Visio (preferred).
  • Typing speed of at least 45 WPM.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, administrative, and conceptual skills.
  • Strong time management abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive issues with tact, courtesy, and discretion.
  • Adaptability to perform in a demanding work environment and adjust priorities as needed.
  • Capability to work with minimal supervision.
