Job Description

A local real estate company is looking for a skilled Administrative Assistant who can get things done in a timely manner. The job duties include answering phone calls, maintaining inventory, and handling incoming and outgoing mail. Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, occasional evening and weekend hours

Pay

$40,000 to $45,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support such as answering phone calls, sending emails and relaying messages.
  • Assist with any questions/problems members or staff may have.
  • Maintain general office, break room and conference room supplies and inventory.
  • Maintain a calendar of all meetings, classes and staff schedules.
  • Responsible for the dissemination of incoming mail and other deliveries; process outgoing mail and parcels.
  • Provide accounting support such as the timely recording of all accounts receivables, prepare bank deposits, invoicing, filing, vendor communication and assist with audits.
  • Provide set-up and on-site support when requested.
  • Assist with proofreading forms.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Highschool Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in a related field or position, or any combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to meet the minimum qualifications to perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Experience in administrative office practices and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently as well as with others.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service skills as well as written and oral communication and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and extremely organized.
