A reputable local company is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Clerk for a part-time, temporary position running through the end of May 2025, with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have experience in banking, cashiering, and payment/bill handling, and will be responsible for processing customer payments efficiently and accurately. Hours

Part-time, Monday-Friday 7:30am-11:30am

Pay

$20 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Process customer payments received via mail and drop box.
  • Balance all payments and verify or resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare daily reports detailing payment transactions.
  • Perform cash processing duties and apply payments to customer accounts.
  • Utilize text and mail merge functions effectively for communication and reporting purposes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in banking, cashiering, and payment/bill handling is highly desired.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
  • Proficient in using text and mail merge functions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
