Bookkeeper (Hybrid) (216586-14)A local architectural firm is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join their team and help maintain financial records and manage daily accounting tasks. The Bookkeeper will assist the Accounting Manager with project bookkeeping such as maintaining general ledger entries, preparing monthly financial reports, financial auditing, and maintaining accurate financial documentation.
The ideal candidate will have previous accounting clerk and/or bookkeeping experience.

Hours
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Location
Downtown, Honolulu, Oahu
Responsibilities
- Process both Account Payables and Accounts Receivables.
- Produce client and customer invoices.
- Manage the payroll system.
- Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements and expense reports.
- Prepare journal entries, daily deposits, bank statements.
- Track and manage the company?s financial data.
- Prepare and file financial documents.
- Document financial transaction details and monitor transactions.
- Contact clients, consultants and vendors by phone, by email or in person to explain billing adjustments or any accounting-related issues that may occur.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of office and clerical experience.
- Previous experience with engineering accounting software (Deltek Ajera) a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment state and federal background check.
