Are you handy with tools and looking for consistent part-time hours? Our client is seeking a reliable Building Maintenance & Painting Prep Technician for a Monday through Friday schedule (8:00 am – 1:00 pm). If you have experience with drywall, basic plumbing, and general facility upkeep, we want to hear from you! We are looking for a dedicated technician to join our team to assist with property maintenance and surface preparation. You will be responsible for ensuring the facilities are in top-notch condition by handling minor repairs and preparing surfaces for painting.

Pay

$18 to $22 an hour

Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Prepare drywall surfaces by sanding, taping, and applying joint compound. Restore damaged drywall as needed.
• General Maintenance: Perform routine building maintenance tasks.
• Fixture Installation/Repair: Replace light fixtures, smoke detectors, and plumbing fixtures.
• Tool Usage: Utilize your own basic hand tools to complete daily work orders.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and utilize appropriate PPE.

Qualifications

• Schedule: Ability to commit to a consistent M-F schedule from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
• Physical Strength: Ability to lift and carry 50–75lbs regularly.
• Tools: Must possess and be proficient with basic hand tools.
• Screening: Must successfully pass a Federal/State background check and a 5-panel drug test prior to starting.
• Transportation: While a valid driver’s license is not required for daily job duties, it is helpful.
• Reliability: Excellent attendance and a strong work ethic are non-negotiable.
