Our client is seeking a full-time Building Maintenance Worker to help with the cleaning of common areas, removing trash, repairing and replacing light bulbs, handling minor plumbing, touching up paint, and maintaining the grounds. The qualified candidate will have previous building maintenance and janitorial experience.

Hours

Full-time, Tuesday-Friday 11:00am-5:30pm, Saturday 7:00am-3:00pm

Location

Makiki, Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$21 an hour

Responsibilities

• Perform building maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, power washing, painting, light carpentry and repairs.
• Clean common areas by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and wiping down.
• Perform general landscape maintenance, cut and rake grass, trim hedges and trees, water grounds and planting.
• Maintain safety and security of all common areas.
• Pick up trash in the parking lot.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Previous building maintenance, janitorial, and grounds keeping experience required.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Motivated, dependable, hardworking.
• Must pass a background check.
• TB Clearance is preferred.
