A Honolulu-based company is seeking a Business Coordinator to support the daily workflow of taking incoming service calls, dispatching, and assisting with contract preparation and management. This role requires a polished, organized, and proactive individual who can manage administrative tasks, coordinate dispatch technicians, maintain records, and support various client's requests. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and quick to learn—someone who communicates clearly, follows through consistently, and brings a positive, professional presence to the office. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with strong long-term potential for the right fit. Candidates must have reliable transportation. Parking is provided on-site.
Hours
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Location
Airport Area, Honolulu, Oahu
Pay
¤27 to ¤30 an hour
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls; prepare for and greet visitors, guiding them to meeting rooms.
- Provide administrative and organizational support to management, including preparing correspondence and professional documents.
- Take detailed meeting minutes and distribute afterward.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries.
- Assist with planning company functions, internal events, and customer gatherings.
- Create, update, and maintain Excel spreadsheets and databases.
- Maintain organized filing systems for both hard-copy and digital records.
- Order office supplies, promotional items, and other materials as needed.
- Support scheduling and administrative logistics across departments.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Business Management degree required.
- Minimum 3 years of administrative or office coordination experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
- Strong written communication skills, including professional correspondence.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and consistent with follow-through.
- Mature, reliable, and proactive with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must have a reliable vehicle.
- Knowledge of Hawai‘i locations and correct pronunciation of local names, or willingness to learn.
