A reputable engineering firm is seeking a Civil Engineer to join their team and assist with the preparation of construction plans, cost estimates, engineering reports, and visiting project sites.

The ideal candidate will have their bachelor's degree and knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, and Microsoft Office applications.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$52,000 to $95,000 a year

Responsibilities

• Design and plan civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, and buildings.
• Perform calculations, analyzing data, and preparing reports.
• Oversee construction activities and ensuring compliance with design specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project success.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Resolve design and construction challenges as they arise.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
• F.E. and/or P.E. preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with a civil engineering firm preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Knowledge of Civil Engineering principles and standards, as well as environmental regulations.
• Experience in working with local authorities, environmental agencies, and other government entities.
• Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
