Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Administrative Assistant to support our healthcare facility's daily operations. This position plays a vital role in maintaining medical records, coordinating admissions, and providing administrative support to our nursing staff and residents. The ideal candidate has great communication, detail-oriented, and strong organizational skills.

Full-time, Full-time, 8:00am-4:30pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$19 to $21 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Prepare admission documentation including resident folders, identification cards, and orientation materials for families.
  • Assist with transcribing physician orders.
  • Accurately review medical records and documentation and file data accordingly.
  • Provide support with medical record audits to ensure completeness and compliance
  • Keep updated records of immunizations and charts.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate transportation arrangements.
  • Manage incoming calls, greet visitors, and patients in a professional manner.
  • Maintain and monitor inventory of office supplies, order as needed.
  • Coordinate room changes including staff notification, room preparation, and updating families.
  • Follow all infection control and safety protocols.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all resident and facility information.
  • Attend all mandatory training sessions.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in office work or administrative support roles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Strong communication skills, organization, and flexibility.
  • Ability to work in a face-paced environment with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferred.
