Clinical Resource Coordinator (223599-14)
Play a key role in supporting patient care by coordinating administrative operations, managing medical documentation, and ensuring seamless communication between healthcare teams.
Hours
Full-time, Monday-Friday 7:45am-4:45pm
Location
Honolulu, Oahu
Pay
$26 to $27 an hour
Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize patient records in electronic and paper formats while ensuring confidentiality.
- Coordinate patient appointments, procedures, transportation, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Process medical documentation, physician orders, authorizations, requisitions, and consent forms.
- Manage incoming calls, relay messages, and communicate updates to patients, families, and staff.
- Order supplies, monitor inventory, and assist with equipment maintenance requests.
- Provide administrative support through data entry, report preparation, correspondence, and departmental coordination.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years of general clerical or administrative experience performing a variety of office support functions.
- At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting such as a hospital, clinic, or physician's office.
- Experience working with physicians and coordinating patient care documentation and orders.
- Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of medical terminology in a clinical environment.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Proficiency with computers, office equipment, and standard office software.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
