Construction Project Manager (223755-14)
Seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee federal construction projects from contract award through project completion. This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, compliance, and field operations while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with extensive knowledge of federal construction requirements, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

$140,000 to $180,000 a year
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple federal construction projects from planning through closeout.
- Oversee daily field operations, subcontractor performance, and project progress.
- Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion.
- Monitor project budgets, forecasts, costs, and overall financial performance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government representatives and project stakeholders.
- Prepare and manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and contract modifications.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations, contract requirements, and company standards.
- Collaborate with safety and quality teams to maintain job site compliance and quality expectations.
- Identify project risks and implement solutions to minimize schedule or budget impacts.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to leadership while supporting successful project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing federal construction projects.
- Experience working with NAVFAC, USACE, or other federal government agencies.
- Strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and federal contracting requirements.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6, RMS/eCMS, or similar construction management software, preferred.
- Excellent project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout Hawaiʻi and other assigned project locations.
- Preferred certifications include PMP, OSHA 30-Hour, QCM-C, PE, or EIT.
