Construction Superintendent (224363-05)
The Construction Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations on active job sites in Waipahu and throughout Oʻahu. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for keeping projects moving safely, efficiently, and according to schedule and quality standards. The ideal candidate is a strong field leader who can effectively manage crews and subcontractors, solve problems as they arise, and work closely with the project management team.

Full-time, Mon-Fri 7:00am-5:00pm

Pay
$100,000 to $140,000 a year, DOE
Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate daily field operations, subcontractors, and construction crews.
- Maintain project schedules and proactively identify and resolve potential delays.
- Enforce jobsite safety programs and OSHA requirements.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets plans and specifications.
- Coordinate material and equipment deliveries with the project team.
- Lead subcontractor and jobsite safety meetings.
- Prepare and maintain daily field reports.
- Work closely with the Project Manager and Project Engineer on schedules, budgets, and RFIs.
- Help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction superintendent experience in commercial or residential construction.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction means and methods.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts.
- Proven ability to lead construction crews and subcontractors.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in an active construction environment.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
