Job Description

We're immediately looking for a Controller or CFO to fill an opening with a leading construction company! They are seeking someone to oversee financial operations including AP/AR, job cost accounting, payroll and cash flow management; internal accounting controls and financial reporting; as well as budgeting, forecasting and analysis.

Qualified candidates will have at least 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting leadership role. Experience in the construction industry is a plus!

Pay

$100,000 a year, higher pay negotiable depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations including AP/AR, job cost accounting, payroll and cash flow management.
• Develop and maintain the system of internal accounting controls and financial reporting.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
• Oversee Work-In-Progress reporting & General Ledger.
• Produce monthly financial statements
• Coordinate quarterly accounting reviews, annual audits and tax returns
• Maintain state registrations, business and tax licenses, etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor?s degree in accounting required, CPA preferred.
• Possess 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting leadership role.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting systems/platforms.
• Familiarity with10-key, computers and other office equipment preferred.
• Ability to work past normal business hours and on weekends, as needed to meet deadlines.
• Detail oriented with particular emphasis on accuracy and ability to process work quickly.
• Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
