Registered Nurses (RNs) Wanted for Correctional Facilities

We are currently hiring for day and evening shifts and are looking for candidates with a minimum availability of 4 days per week, including every other weekend.

Hours

Per Diem, 6:00am-2:30pm I 10:00pm-6:30am

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$54.69 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care, administer medications, and assist physicians with diagnostic procedures and testing.
  • Maintain high standards of nursing care while providing education and guidance to patients.
  • Coordinate care with members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team and participate in patient care conferences.
  • Monitor and support compliance with required training, in-services, and other mandatory educational requirements.

Qualifications

  • Ability to develop individualized patient care plans and remain calm and effective during emergency situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the physical ability and flexibility required for the role.
  • Commitment to ethical conduct, professional nursing standards, and patient confidentiality.
  • Strong health assessment abilities and the ability to participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care experience.
  • Current license to practice nursing in the State of Hawaii.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Current TB clearance.
