Job Description

Immediately looking for a Data Analyst to help turn critical data into knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions. This role also drives business intelligence solutions through inception, technical design, development, testing, and delivery.

The ideal candidate will have experience using Tableau and be highly proficient in SQL especially with deconstructing and manipulating data. Experience with Python is a plus.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$50,000 to $80,000 a year, DOE

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver reports with detailed analysis.
• Train users to interpret data into action-oriented knowledge.
• Maintain dashboards and measure usage and value.
• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
• Communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Implement new data analysis methodologies.
• Review and validate data as needed.
• Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in business, finance, accounting, statistics, mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience within business intelligence or data analysis.
• Experience with relational database concepts and writing SQL queries.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) preferred.
• Experience with Python is a plus.
• Data-oriented, independent self-starter. 
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills. 
• Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
