A local non-profit organization is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and processing important information for a key program. This is a temporary opportunity running approximately 6-12 months.
Hours
Full-time, Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm
Location
Honolulu, Oahu
Pay
$20 an hour
Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely data entry from physical applications into database system.
- Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Review and verify data for completeness and accuracy.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical filing systems.
- Assist in generating reports and data summaries as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to improve data management processes.
Qualifications
- Excellent typing skills and proficiency with 10-key data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy in work.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Previous experience in data entry or related field preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
