Job Description

Our client is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join their team as a Department Assistant. Duties in this role include processing tax returns, financial statements and proposals, maintaining and organizing client data, and performing general clerical duties. Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$19 to $22 an hour, doe

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests and visitors.
  • Process financial statements and proposals.
  • Process and file tax returns and engagement letters.
  • Maintain and organize client data.
  • Distribute newsletter and post internal communications.
  • Update and maintain rosters as needed.
  • Perform general clerical duties (i.e., scan, fax, run errands, etc.).
  • Handle mail distribution.
  • Clean and sanitize common areas.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate?s degree or higher preferred.
  • Office administration and support experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a public accounting firm preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and other software and applications.
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Able to type 50 words per minute.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required by client for this position, however, will no longer be required after 10/17/2022. This is not an ALTRES Staffing requirement.
