Job Description

Immediately seeking a Development Coordinator to assist with administrative aspects of development and public relations activities for a well-known non-profit organization.

Qualified candidates for this role will have two years of administrative experience, preferably in the non-profit sector.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$40,000 a year

Responsibilities

  • Process donations and prepare acknowledgement letters and other correspondence.
  • Update and correct database records.
  • Coordinate and follow up on donor fulfillment.
  • Assist with coordination of direct mail efforts.
  • Assist with online and in-person fundraising efforts including but not limited to meeting/negotiating with vendors, preparing solicitation and guest lists, correspondences, and follow-up phone calls.
  • Assemble, print, package, mail/email special events and public relations materials (i.e., invitations, programs, newsletters, premium offers, etc.) for distribution.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an administrative position, preferably in nonprofit.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, database management, social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), and Canva.
  • Valid driver?s license and clean driver?s abstract
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to compose standard office correspondence.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
