Director of Marketing & Communications (208470-14)A local non-profit is seeking an experienced individual to join their team as the Director of Marketing & Communications. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, development, and implementation of the company's marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities.
Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 7 years of experience with demonstrated success in marketing, communications, or public relations.

Hours
Full-time, Monday to Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm | Friday, 8:00am-2:00pm (flexible)

Pay
$90,000 to $120,000 a year
Responsibilities
- Oversee the company's mobile app and work on increasing usage and engagement.
- Manage the company?s databases incl. accuracy and compliance with opt-in and data privacy.
- Oversee social media and content marketing strategy.
- Oversee company's brand appearance in print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, etc.
- Create, implement, and measure the success of a comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations program.
- Produce and edit company communications incl. executive communications, speeches, industry publications, etc.
- Serve as the main liaison to media partners.
- Coordinate company events and community appearances.
- Develop branding strategies for sponsorships and advertising opportunities.
- Assist in planning member events that help promote company?s mission and vision.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor?s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 7-10+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations with demonstrated success.
- Experience developing and managing budgets.
- Experience training, developing, supervising, and appraising personnel.
- Experience writing press releases, making presentations, and negotiating with media.
- Experience overseeing the design and production of print materials and publications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Extreme attention to accuracy and detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle information with sensitivity.
