Job Description

You’ll perform a mix of routine and heavy-duty cleaning, sanitation, and groundskeeping tasks to ensure our facility meets high standards of cleanliness and infection control.

We have two openings available: a Monday–Friday shift from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, or a full-time floater role that requires flexible availability, including weekends.

Pay

¤22 an hour

Responsibilities

• Vacuum, sweep, scrub, and wet-mop floors and facility areas.
• Operate floor machines to buff, wax, polish, and strip floors.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, sinks, showers, and lavatories daily.
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces (e.g., door handles, railings, elevator buttons, electronics) in accordance with facility infection control policies.
• Collect, bag, and dispose of refuse; clean and disinfect waste receptacles.
• Maintain facility grounds, including mowing, raking, and watering.
• Remove and dispose of outdoor debris.
• Perform basic weed control.
• Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, equipment, elevators, and window sills.
• Clean and disinfect patient beds per facility procedures.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Clean walls, ceilings, vents, and light fixtures (including use of ladders).
• Move and arrange furniture as needed.
• Assist with holiday decorating.
• Report maintenance issues or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience in Janitorial/Maintenance is preferred.
• Ability to perform manual labor efficiently.
• Capable of lifting 50lbs on a regular basis.
• Documentation of a previous 2 Step TB Skin Test.
