In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of the facility. Schedule: Monday–Sunday, 6:00 AM – 2:45 PM. (Note: Holidays are observed as time off; total weekly hours may be less than 40 during weeks containing a holiday.)

Responsibilities

• Deep Clean: Vacuum, mop, scrub, and polish floors using industrial machinery.
• Sanitize: Disinfect high-touch surfaces (sinks, toilets, showers) and patient beds following safety protocols.
• General Maintenance: Dust furniture and fixtures, clean windows/high areas with ladders, and remove trash.
• Restock: Keep supplies like soap and paper products fully stocked throughout the facility.
• Safety: Safely mix and use cleaning chemicals according to infection control guidelines.
• Groundskeeping: Maintain outdoor areas (mowing, raking, watering plants, removing trash).
• Facility Help: Rearrange furniture, hang curtains, and perform minor repairs (blinds, rods).
• Management: Weigh, sort, and distribute clean linens; collect and process soiled linens.
• Upkeep: Handle basic mending/sewing, fold linens, and maintain laundry machinery.

Qualifications

• Experience: Some previous experience in building cleaning or janitorial work is preferred.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with standard cleaning equipment, janitorial practices, building security, and safety/sanitation procedures.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to perform manual labor, including heavy lifting, pushing/pulling laundry carts, and working with industrial equipment.
• Communication: Ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions.
• Reliability: Must meet health and physical requirements necessary to safely perform all essential job functions.
