Job Description

A reputable financial institution is seeking a Financial Client Services to handle a variety of administrative and customer service responsibilities within its banking operations division. This role supports both consumer and business clients, assisting with account management, loan processing, and service transactions while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and experienced in banking or financial services, with the ability to provide excellent service to both local and international clients.

Hours

Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$19 to $21.50 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Open and maintain consumer and business deposit and loan accounts, including secured and unsecured personal loans and lines of credit.
  • Process account renewals, CDs, cashier’s checks, and wire transaction requests.
  • Prepare and verify loan documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide professional, efficient customer service via phone, email, and in person—assisting both local and Japanese-speaking clients when needed.
  • Support international client functions by managing payment services, service contracts, and related documentation.
  • Perform administrative duties to support departmental operations, recordkeeping, and reporting.
  • Work with internal teams and external vendors to resolve client issues and ensure smooth operations.
  • Contribute to department goals by assisting team members and maintaining operational accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Japanese language proficiency (reading, writing, and speaking) preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in banking, financial services, or a related administrative role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
