A local utilities company is looking for a customer-focused Human Resources Administrator to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties, supporting the HR department in delivering exceptional service to employees, and maintaining accurate records.

Full-time, Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm

Pay

$18 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Handle administrative duties including phone calls, emails, and general support.
  • Provide recruiting assistance as needed.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding HR policies, processes, and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and high customer service standards.
  • Manage the HR case management tool to accurately capture, track, and follow up on inquiries.
  • Research and escalate complex issues to appropriate personnel.
  • Oversee the onboarding process, including communication with new hires, sending correspondence and new hire documents, and completing I-9 forms and E-Verify in a timely manner.
  • Perform data entry tasks and personnel record updates associated with employee changes.
  • Maintain employee personnel files and employment forms.
  • Utilize professional resources to ensure quality customer service.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR information systems.
  • Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with onboarding processes and documentation.
  • Familiarity with I-9 and E-Verify procedures.
