Job Description

A local kama'aina company is looking for an HR Administrative Assistant for their Honolulu office. In this role, you will handle the day-to-day duties of the HR department such as making follow up calls, scheduling appointments, and handling billing reconciliation.

Qualified candidates will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

Hours

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$20 to $22 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily new hire onboarding process that includes numerous follow up calls, emails, missed appointments, incomplete documents, etc.
  • Schedule appointments and handle billing reconciliation.
  • Work with various clients to coordinate drug testing and background check administration.
  • Ensure all new hire I-9 verifications are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Print, copy, scan, file, fax, and email documents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent general education degree (GED).
  • Previous customer service experience required.
  • HR experience preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication (verbal, written, interpersonal) skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to type at least 40 words per minute.
