Job Description

The Human Resources Generalist provides essential support to the HR department and serves as a front-line resource for employees. This role is responsible for assisting with recruitment, compliance, performance management, and employee relations, while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality at all times. The ideal candidate is adaptable, able to pivot when needed, and approaches challenges with an open mind while supporting a dynamic workforce.

Parking will be provided.

Hours

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM

Location

Honolulu, Oahu

Pay

$29 to $36 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Support HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Administer employee relations and assist in conflict resolution.
  • Coordinate benefits, compliance, and HR documentation.
  • Partner with managers and supervisors to address employee needs and workforce initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate HR records, reports, and systems.
  • Uphold confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
  • Perform additional HR-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist preferred.
  • Prior recruiting experience strongly desired.
  • Bachelor?s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements and labor relations is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
  • Must be able to meet background, drug screening, and TWIC & DBIDS security clearance requirements.
  • Valid driver?s license and reliable transportation required.
